Time Warner Cable (TWC) was a major American telecommunications and media company that provided cable television, internet, and phone services to millions of customers across the United States. Founded in 1989 as a result of the merger between Warner Communications and Time Inc., TWC grew rapidly, expanding its reach through acquisitions of various local cable companies.
