ABOUT BRING ME THE HORIZON
Bring Me the Horizon is a British rock band formed in Sheffield in 2004, known for their genre-blurring sound that incorporates elements of metalcore, electronic, and pop. The band consists of lead vocalist Oli Sykes, guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls, and keyboardist Jordan Fish.
Initially gaining attention with their debut album, *Count Your Blessings*, the band showcased a heavy metalcore sound. However, their subsequent albums, particularly *Sempiternal* (2013) and *That’s the Spirit* (2015), marked a significant evolution, integrating more melodic and electronic influences. This shift broadened their appeal and helped them reach a wider audience.
Bring Me the Horizon is known for their energetic live performances and innovative approach to music, often experimenting with different styles and sounds. Songs like “Drown” and “MANTRA” highlight their ability to blend heavy instrumentation with catchy hooks.
In recent years, the band has continued to push boundaries with albums like *amo* (2019) and *Post Human: Survival Horror* (2020), exploring themes of mental health and existentialism. Their fearless exploration of musical styles and commitment to evolving their sound has established Bring Me the Horizon as one of the most influential bands in modern rock.
